It is with great sadness that we share the news that a former coworker and longtime member of the Jamerson & Bauwens team, Kevin Westre, who retired in April 2024, has passed away.

NFPA 70B isn’t a set of guidelines. 
Beginning as the 2023 edition (and updated through the 2026 edition), 70B transitioned a “recommended practice” into a Mandatory Standard with “shall” specifications.

NFPA 70E is a Mandatory Standard with “shall” specifications.
