Mandatory Standard
August 20, 2026
NFPA 70B isn’t a set of guidelines.
Beginning as the 2023 edition (and updated through the 2026 edition), 70B transitioned a “recommended practice” into a Mandatory Standard with “shall” specifications.
NFPA 70E is a Mandatory Standard with “shall” specifications.
Property and Casualty Insurance carriers can deny coverage and otherwise valid claims for properties that do not meet the mandates of NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E.
The risk of inaction perpetuates risk in action.
Eliminate it altogether.

Jamerson & Bauwens is the single resource you need touch to ensure compliance is timely, perpetual, and “puncture proof.”
