One million square feet and 17 stories, the power distribution installation for this acute care women’s hospital flexed our installation and design abilities. The prime contractor, we worked in concert with MEP trades, general construction trades, the construction manager, owner and architect/engineer.

Project Scope

  • 6 megawatts of generator power, paralleling switchgear, distributed at 5kV thru 5-unit substations, 65 transfer switches, automated monitoring and control
  • Three main service electrical switchgear vaults
  • Complete distribution and risers servicing 58 electrical closets throughout the building
  • Final testing and commissioning of entire installation including complete blackout test of entire building
