It is with great sadness that we share the news that a former coworker and longtime member of the Jamerson & Bauwens team, Kevin Westre, who retired in April 2024, has passed away.

We know many of you had the opportunity to work alongside Kevin and share memories throughout his time with the company….

Retirement removes a familiar and authentic community….

NFPA 70B isn’t a set of guidelines. 
Beginning as the 2023 edition (and updated through the 2026 edition), 70B transitioned a “recommended practice” into a Mandatory Standard with “shall” specifications.

NFPA 70E is a Mandatory Standard with “shall” specifications.

Property and Casualty Insurance carriers can deny coverage and otherwise valid claims for properties that do not meet the mandates of NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E….
