NFPA 70B isn’t a set of guidelines. 
Beginning as the 2023 edition (and updated through the 2026 edition), 70B transitioned a “recommended practice” into a Mandatory Standard with “shall” specifications.

NFPA 70E is a Mandatory Standard with “shall” specifications.

Property and Casualty Insurance carriers can deny coverage and otherwise valid claims for properties that do not meet the mandates of NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E….

Since 2017, Local 134 CFL Delegates donate stipends to establish and maintain the scholarship fund.  It supports the educational goals of exceptional students who are also the dependents of active and retired members….
